Wild Clay Series

A collection of works made from Wild clays that I dug up from local areas. The bowl was glazed with the liquified slip of a clay from Seaham while the Aquamanile was made from that clay, thought fired at a lower temperature. The red speckled clay was from the beach of my hometown. The Aquamanile and speckled set were only glazed with a transparent glaze but due to the chemicals found within the clays, turned a green shade once fired.
